Woman with gun outside White House is arrested by Secret Service officers

A Michigan woman was arrested by Secret Service officers after she was seen walking along the White House’s north fence with a handgun at about 8 p.m. Thursday, authorities said.

Secret Service plainclothes officers noticed a woman with a holster near Pennsylvania Avenue around the perimeter of the fence and notified uniform division officers, who then arrested her for having an unregistered 9 mm handgun in her holster, said Ed Donovan, the spokesman for the Secret Service.

The woman, whom authorities identified as April Lenhart, 23, was accompanied by another person, who was not arrested and had not been identified by the Secret Service late Thursday.

Donovan said Lenhart was not cooperating in her interview and that it was hard to know what her intentions were.

Is how many people are usually arrested for this in a regular month. This seems just a case of media attention bias, in the sense that they tend to report more of what just gave them some good ratings recently.

You have to thank the U.S. Supreme Court and at that time the Appeals court for the district that ruled that it was alright to have guns all over the place, and now since Michigan has NO back ground checks to get a gun, the gun is unregistered, you have to thank the NRA for this, and one of there cronies that said the president was lower than dog meat the psychopath Nugent for letting this happen, and you have to thank Larry Platt another right wing psychopath.
The question need to be asked and brought home everyday of this violence that if someone were to walk on there property and they did not know the intentions what do you think they (Platt, Nugent, La Pierre , King, Gohmert, Perry and all of the other right loons would do---shoot ask questions later, and plead self defense, call the police, or be at gun shows and right wing events blaming liberals / progressives for the violence in this country
