Obama Gets a Huge Win As Democrats Withdraw Their Support For Iran Sanctions Bill

Source: Politicus USA

resident Obama got a huge win today as ten Democratic senators have vowed to vote against the Iran sanctions bill being pushed by Republicans in order to give the president more time to negotiate a nuclear agreement with Iran.
United States Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Gary Peters (D-MI), Bob Casey (D-PA), Ben Cardin (D-MD), Chris Coons (D-DE), Joe Manchin (D-WV), Joe Donnelly (D-IN), and Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) all signed a letter to the president expressing their support:

Boner inviting Netanyahu united the Dems like nothing else would have. A huge error on his part.

"There is hypocrisy in the discussion of the Netanyahu-Boehner end-run. It is not unprecedented for foreign leaders to lobby Congress directly; the Arab states opposed to Iran do it all the time, and the British prime minister, David Cameron, lobbied Congress earlier this month on behalf of Obama’s Iran policy, and against the arguments of the Republicans.

But the manner and execution and overall tone-deafness of Netanyahu’s recent ploy suggest that he—and his current ambassador—don’t understand how to manage Israel’s relationships in Washington. Netanyahu wants a role in shaping the Iranian nuclear agreement, should one materialize. His recent actions suggest that he doesn't quite know what he's doing."

as an ambassador to Obama. This really - in and of itself - was a pretty aggressive move.

What is weird is that Netanyahu has no concept that stabbing the President and SoS in the back - when he knows he needs them - and publicly speaking of being able to move Washington - is really stupid.

Hope bibi hears that message loud and clear. You don't get to crap on a Democratic president and expect support from Democrats.

Than running a Democratic Secular government.

Who goes in and bombs and deadly tear gasses their ' own people', trapped on a reservation?
I have no respect for his kind of aggressive, military, conservative, right wing, leadership.
