But the Hammonds disavowed the militants, and the occupiers focused their rhetoric on larger issues of land use ...

Some more right-wing Western lawmakers, including three from Idaho, visited Burns to meet with the occupiers ...

In Washington, D.C., several Western-state congressional Republicans, including Idaho’s Raul Labrador, have introduced bills to increase state control, although none of them have gotten close to passing.

I hate these scrum and their greedy desires. As Edward Abbey would've said, they are destroying the land, and more than that, they are doing "a permanent job of it". I will oppose such low-life lying thieving dirt bags to my very last breath on this beautiful Earth.

I believe our planet needs as many protectors and healers as we can possibly get. Control of the remaining wild lands was taken away from the states because local politicians are too often owned by the robber barons and their greedy and selfish friends. It IS only about fattening their bank accounts, and they will viciously rape the land in order to do that. Other species rights and the rights of all of us to the health of those lands be damned, that is their philosophy. Their greed and the true hate of wild nature which directs their beliefs is completely transparent. And home schooling =home brainwashing!
