This is a very interesting article that posits that Comey went public with the statement about the existence of the FBI investigation in order to show Manafort and Flynn that Trump was willing to throw them under the bus. It predicted that Manafort and Flynn would then be more ready to deal. In that light, it is pretty interesting to hear the WSJ news about Flynn tonight....
