Strange Fibers Found Embedded Inside Chicken McNuggets (vid)
http://www.collective-evolution.com/2013/09/27/strange-fibers-found-embedded-inside-chicken-mcnuggets/This video speaks for itself in that McDonalds chicken mcnuggets seem to contain some strange ingredients and substances that currently have no explanation. Health Ranger Mike Adams purchased a 10-piece chicken mcnugget meal from a McDonalds restaurant and decided to examine them under carefully controlled conditions using a high-powered digital microscope. What he found was quite interesting as you will note in the video below.
Through his investigations, not only did he find weird fiber like objects, but there were a number of odd colors including a blue egg shaped object that resembled an antifreeze like glob.
What are these strange ingredients? We do not know. We also do not know if they are safe or unsafe to consume as not much is known about them. However, these mysterious ingredients are another great reason why we should avoid processed foods and stick with fresh, clean foods.
Share this with friends and family who might still be eating McDonalds food.

(16,423 posts)Those blue droplets could be an oily machine-lubricant that slipped from the gears and mechanics into the dough during a kneading- or mixing-process.
Those fibers could simply be dust-particles/thread-particles from worn-out textiles (e.g. carpet) that lie close to the machinery.
That green thing? No idea. Airborne algae?

(35,773 posts)Not ok. Not even close.
You're hurting yourself and anyone you can convince when you push BS.
Stop. It's the right thing to do.

(5,861 posts)Classy, but you should take a page from the nameless blogger in your link and write 2000 words about it.
I don't need youtube videos to know not to eat at McDonald's. See post #10.
HuckleB
(35,773 posts)I haven't eaten there in decades.
That doesn't mean anti-science BS is something you can justify.
BTW, it seems that you don't know the definition of a personal attack.
Ash_F
(5,861 posts)Because that blog post was garbage.
Further:
"I'm sorry science is too confusing" - Implying I'm dumb. Personal attack.
"BTW, it seems that you don't know the definition of a personal attack." - Also implying I'm dumb.
HuckleB
(35,773 posts)We both know it.
You haven't the slightest idea about any of this.
Awfully presumptuous ...
HuckleB
(35,773 posts)The obvious is the obvious. There's no need for presumption.

Yet my "nuggets" article was blocked--not even open for discourse. Go figure.

There is only one reason for meat to smell like a barn.
Needless to say, I never went back and share the story with as many people as possible.

Sorry, but even at DU, the majority go with science over BS.

Chicken McNuggets from McDonald's aren't known for being the healthiest thing on the planet, but they're not really known for being "chicken" either. The nuggets are actually only about 50% actual chicken; the rest comprises synthetic ingredients, including dimethylpolysiloxane, a chemical used in silicone that can be found in Silly Putty as well as breast implant filler.
