all allegations concerning teachers and sexual abuse, including pedophilia, are taken seriously. If she was teaching in the US she would be suspended pending an investigation. The fact that she is gay could get her fired in a lot of school systems in the US. It would also appear that the UK school systems in relation to LBGT issues is far ahead of the US.

David Pakman's reference to "free speech" is off target and not applicable.
