It's the first time that I ever saw a video of a live performance for Tears for Fear so this was a treat. I always wondered what happened to the band after The Seeds of Love album so reading up on their history was interesting.

There is a lot of dissatisfaction with the Repuke leadership here in Texas and I'm hoping that the Democrats can field a decent slate of candidates that include not only Wendy Davis, but also other representatives such as Leticia Van de Putte, Kirk Watson and Royce West. It would be nice to take the state back from the Repukes since I remember standing about five feet away from Gov. Ann Richards when Robert Hunter was sworn in as insurance commissioner back in the early 90s.

I really do understand how many Texas Dems feel. I lived and worked in Beaumont and Houston when I was in radio and TV. When I was in Houston in 2001-02, I was a reporter and attended a Rick Perry news conference. I can tell you it was sickening to sit a few feet away from that repulsive idiot and have to listen to his filth. I believe it was right after tropical storm Allison flooded many sections of Houston that this news conference took place. But its been so long to remember for certain.

So by seeing that Ms. Davis is going for it, I hope this is a new dawn for you guys. You need a "shot in the arm" big time. Perry's ilk has been there too long.
