It's not supposed to be funny, friend. It's supposed to be -- and is -- a true representation of the hollowness of the famous Coke sing-a-long shown against the palpable ugliness of the Russian State, the host of the Winter Olympics, the Winter Olympics that is going to pay Coke a bundle of loot to act as a sponsor. But it's really more than a swipe at Coke. It's a swipe at the intolerance of Russia -- and it's thuggish ignorance -- measured ironically and sadly against the avowed and expressed openness of the song.
