That's good, but sharing an idea/photo/video via a similar sized device is isolating?
Meh.
Everything in moderation. That's all. It's not more complex than that. Use your digital social circles AND face to face/group socialization to your advantage. You don't have to neglect one to leverage the other.

(58 posts)Most people don't take their social media in moderation. Walked by a college party a couple of weeks ago. Loud music and about 15 people on the porch all looking at their phones. Kinda made me sad.

(2,060 posts)wife hammers me about it all the time. However, I'm not sure if the world remains a place I want to interact with on a personal level. My real interaction period was between 1960 to 1990. I compare now to then--it is not even he same place. It would be nice to be more specific, but, then, this is too dangerous in this particular world. The former real world never had punitive devices for normal byplay. This one does. Next, is the world of THX1138, and there is nothing we can do to stop it.
