At last, a truly honest piece about racism in America today! And Mike Malloy showed himself to have a heckuva lot more honesty and integrity than 99% of the white people out there. There's way too much pretense, posing and hypocrisy out there! Anyone who has seen the reaction of Republican obstructionists to our president and his agenda can not doubt for a minute that racism is alive and well in the USA today, and cannot conclude otherwise. The superficial social forms and veneer may change, but deep down, racism is still there. And denial is probably a heckuva lot more dangerous, ultimately, than acknowledging it and then doing your best to overcome it.
