Plame is Roves Vulnerable Flank. Will The Right Wing Noise Machine Throw Him Under The Bus?

Well ain't THIS an interesting situation? Fox News can't gin up the Obama Administration's accidental release of the Afghanistan CIA Station Chief's name without blowing up Karl Rove, and the Bush Administration's DELIBERATE outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame at the same time. It will be interesting to see how they play this. Will they throw Turdblossom under the bus?

I've noticed that Rove has been spending AT LEAST as much time on air trying to defend and minimize his outing of Valerie Plame as he has been slinging mud at Hilary Clinton. He must be worried!

They've been trying their best to have their cake and eat it too, by trotting out Yosemite Sam Bolton to dismiss the Plame identity leak as 'just a piece of malicious gossip,' and hope that their peabrained viewers will somehow think that's NOT as serious as an ACCIDENTAL outing of a CIA agent. But only time will tell...

The GOP takes care of its own. Plus I would think Rove knows where a lot of bodies are buried. He will be fine.

Just remember, if politicians were software, what Democrats see as bugs, the GOP sees as features.

hamhead is a * repub, and everything that * did was OK, see? I think we all know that robot man cheney gave the orders and he was veep, with all the constitutional power of the veep, right? Get it so far?

The problem is that Obama is a Dem and, oh yeah, not white. Anything Obama does is suspect, even tough he was legitimately elected, he was elected by a majority of people that were not white.

Everything must be his fault.

is second in line to Cheney as the most despicable human being (?) America has ever produced. W is third, of course. Blood dripping from their hands.

Since Rove divorced his wife as he left the W WH, did he marry Jeff Gannon? He is wearing a wedding band, unless that is just to make people THINK he is married. Whomever he married must be a good cook, he has porked up considerably. Soon he will roll onto the set just like Gingrich. He has made more than enough money with his slimy, dirty tricks. He should fade off into the sunset.

I had the pleasure to meet Valerie Plame and Ambassador Wilson at a luncheon book signing event. A small group of us got to chat with Mr. Wilson for a quarter hour or so. I am no one special, just lucky to have had the unplanned, fortunate, opportunity to meet him while Valerie was busy signing her book.

I deeply hope that Rove gets his fully deserved comeuppance.

when he spoke here in Philly. I wrote a long post here about the experience...he was supremely engaging, brilliant, and charismatic. I had asked him a question about Tweety, (who was selling Bush Jr.'s products at that time)and his ilk and he gave a terrific, measured response. A lifelong memory. I hope you enjoyed your moments with him as much as I did!

publicizing his book. I lined up to get his autograph on the book. He's a very well dressed, well spoken man and his talk was so informative. I just loved it. I read it and also hers, Fair Game, which was exciting. I liked the TV movie, too.
