2. I know the loneliest place in America...

It was the John Birch Society bookstore in Oakland Ca. It was right around the corner from the Grand Lake theatre. You never saw folks go in or come out of the store. I think its gone now, but who knows. There was also one in the city where I lived about 10 miles south in San Leandro.

Now I live in Placer County east of Sacramento, where the Congressman in a really gerrymandered district has a 93% in accordance with the John Birch Society Valued Votes, There is no other Congressman who comes close to more than 65%.

My assumption is that the Koch Brothers are funding the John Birch Society, just like their father did, with payments instead of bookstores.
