An eyewitness from a massacre that took place in Al-Kassara, Dier Ba'albe in Homs
This man was stuck there for 5 days before being able to escape and ask for help... he says : "The army stormed into Al Kassara and started shelling houses. After that, shabeeha and regime soldiers entered the neighbourhood. They slaughtered the children in front of us, arrested and raped most of our women. They put old men and youths in three lines (in each line there is almost 60 persons) and shot them"
At night, this man escaped and hid in the roof space of a house. The next morning, the army returned and burned all the dead bodies. He says it was a horrible massacre and he is the only survivor from it. After killing the people, the army and shabeeha looted houses 'as usual'.
He still doesn't know where his family is. He also says that the soldiers were Iranians.
