not about Kennedy's dream (myth?) of "Vietnamization" of the Vietnam War.

Maybe that's not as important to remember as remembering neither ISIL nor Al Q'aeeda in Iraq existed before we invaded Iraq, and Ben Laden claimed that he formed a plan to attack the US because of the US attack on Lebanon, but, still.....facts matter. Or so I once heard somewhere.

Thing about JFK's assassination is that many possibilities exist.

CIA, Castro, Cuban expats, mafia, big business, oilmen, LBJ and on and on. Many had motives and ability. Doesn't really matter how many shooters there were. Who was behind and why matters. I don't believe the "acting alone" bit. Almost no one does.

Thing is, we will never know for sure. Many are very sure they do know. Dead certain, so to speak. But being sure doesn't mean being right or being able to prove anything. Over and over, we get proof of the single bullet theory, though.

We do know that LBJ told people who did not want to serve on the Warren Commission, including Warren himself, that it was their duty to their country to serve on the commission. Why? Would it be a stretch to assume that he also told them it was their duty to their country to find that Oswald, already gone, thanks to Ruby, was the shooter and Oswald acted totally on his own?

But, over 50 years later and proof is impossible and theorists get mocked, so what's the point, really?

But, I digress. My point was, I am sick of half truths and one sided versions of the truth.

The Maddox opened fire first and then the response and then the okay to engage. Now, the US will open fire first in Syria...
