spills, explosions in refineries, even wage and hour violations since we represent unions.

DO NOT LET THEM ANYWHERE NEAR THE ARTIC!!!

I am sure Shell's thinking is WHEN (not if) we spill, there won't be all the businesses BP is having to work hard paying off everyone but the victims. We can SAY we cleaned it up (like BP in the Gulf) and that is it. The fines won't be anywhere near the profit we will make.

Shell's union members at their Deer Park, Texas (Houston ship channel refinery row) plant have until Oct 3rd to decide to take a low ball offer from the Dept. Of Labor to make up for the 30 minutes a shift that She'll has not been paying these guys going all the way back (they can only recover as far back as 2009-2013). When operators at a plant come on they have to meet with the ones coming off to find out where in the process they are so they can continue on with the next steps. She'll did not want to pay those 30 minutes because these guys were already working 12 hour shifts and it would guarantee overtime.

Shell knows that all of their drilling crews are required to cut corners, process safety takes a back seat to profits (just ask BP) because they have to make ever more obscene profits so the CEO can get even more millions a year (bonuses tied to dividends and stock buy backs)! They DO NOT CARE about anything but profits and they can pay off the government cheaply compared to the profits!
