Sarah Palins reluctance to put her money where her mouth is has left some 2014 candidates she endorsed floundering in the polls with many unable to make it past the primaries.
According to OpenSecrets.org, SarahPAC, the political action committee controlled by Sarah Palin, has dispensed only $45,000 to fellow Republicans running in the midterms, less than 3 percent of the $1.4 million available as of Sept. 30, the end of the reporting quarter.
With elections three weeks away, Palin seems inclined to hang onto her cash, possibly with an eye on 2016, where she may use the money to increase her profile going into a presidential election."* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.
#0 Sez:" We've known since 2010 that the primary mission of SarahPAC was to buy up copies of her books. Who cares what you do with them afterwards? Give them to Human Events to give away with subscriptions- who cares as long as Sarah gets paid, right? Nice to have the occasional reminder, though..."

(7,875 posts)I don't really mind her ripping off conservative dildos who might otherwise be giving their money to someone who might actually help Republicans win. If the price of that is some trailer trash gets to live the high life until she loses her looks, then I guess I can live with that...

I can't wait to send this to one of my far right friends, who I know have sent her money.

(50,983 posts)It's likely many of the small donors that contribute to Sarah's PAC don't have the means to donate to multiple sources.
They figure, "If'n I donate to Sarah, she'll spend it wisely helping to get Republicans elected." Now those small donors have been warned off.

Incidentally, I agree with you on who her donors are- I seriously doubt if any millionaires are sending her any money.
