Don't ever think that he is stupid, because he's not. Ignorant, well yes, he's definitely ignorant in the Buddhist sense of that word. He probably thinks that he's making a real cute joke that his Tparty Taliban Thugs will go hhahaha guffaw guffaw. You know, sorta the way we make fun of Caribou Barbie. However, make no mistake, he is well aware of how to rouse up the base with all sorts of demagoguery. He is a very dangerous man, who would not flinch one iota to become a theocratic dictator and burn you at the stake for having different ideas. He is a Fascist.

which includes the CDC, we'd have been able to nip the outbreak in the bud in Africa, and not have it be spreading. So, basically now we have plenty of death drones, we're on a nice war footing, and we have more national security that any of us would ever want, but the CDC doesn't have enough money to fight the ebola crisis in Africa.

Hmm.

Before Obamacare hundreds and hundreds of asteroids were hitting Earth, and none has hit us since it went into effect, so Obamacare is protecting us from asteroids. There are still no wild elephants in the United States, either, so clearly Obamacare is still protecting us from wild elephants.

Pretty good trade off, I think: leaving us vulnerable to Ebola but protecting us from asteroids and wild elephants.

forget Ebola---remember the bad old days when people with cancer, Parkinson's, heart disease, etc. were dropped b/c they had pre-existing conditions?

I paid out for decades to the insurance corps and was in perfect health. They made huge profits off me. But then I had to see docs and get a diagnosis for an illness, which turned out to be cancer. The same month my insurance co. started receiving bills for the early consultation/diagnosis phase, it said it would drop me from my contract early. The POS corp gave me 10 days' notice.

Thank goddess I had a Dem rep in my Congressional district, Chris van Hollen. His office staff spoke to the insurance co., which said it was a "typo" about the end date. The co. reinstated me until the ACA was implemented. I was lucky but many people weren't and went bankrupt before Obamacare.
