This is one of my all time favorites. I think Eric Burdon and the Animals took some heat for this song and may have gotten banned some places.

4. They played this at the Non-Commissioned Officers club at Fort Gordon, GA, where I worked

for about six months during the Vietnam War. In those days I was a hippie in enemy territory.
