Bet the bill of retainer will come these twits:Mike Lee,Jason Chaevtz,Orin Hatch,Stewart,Dean Heller,Orton,Love,Heck and Cruz. See a pattern,if you have read any of the West South West Newspapers, you can see this coming. Op Eds for years by this crowd. This is payback for a little Tax Deal from 1978 either you implement the equal rights or you loose your non profit status.

From Rachel's website: "Rachel lives in New York City and Western Massachusetts with her partner, artist Susan Mikula."

I guess you can take heart that they haven't married, even though both New York and Massachusetts have marriage equality.

Her website at rachelmaddow.com still identifies Susan Mikula as her partner. So, if you have web design skills, hit her up. You have a shot at getting a girlfriend or a paying customer, depending.

For many redneck conservatives, it's probably THE prime problem; however, I think the Republican/Teapublican establishment would have given just as much sh*t with just as much vigor to ANY Democratic president these last few years, because they simply see Democrats as illegitimate, unpatriotic, and unAmerican. The whole "being black" thing only widened the scope of attack, and made it easier to dog-whistle additional yahoos into the fold.

Is race a big important part of the knee-jerk criticisms leveled at the President? You bet. But does anyone really believe a white Dem would've had any easier a time with the right-wing media or the Teapublican Congress? The venom leveled at Reid, Pelosi, or ANY white Dem is pretty strong stuff all by itself.

However, I do wonder how a black Republican would be treated by the rednecks as their President...

But more than likely it would be seen as so blatantly racist (them impeaching the first black president) that the GOP may be finished for a generation.

One thing the Dems could do is call their bluff on it and here is how: Alan Grayson should draw up articles of impeachment himself and they should be for not prosecuting BushCo for torture or any other crimes. That would totally make Teabaggers heads explode!

My hopes right now is that some scandals involving elected GOP officials at the federal, state and local levels start coming out which keep the Justice Department busy for the next two years. The Repubs will back off impeachment talk if they're too busy trying to defend themselves from multiple criminal investigations. The Christie Bridgegate and Walker John Doe investigations are still on-going and we also have Michael Grimm heading to trial. Who knows what dirt on other people may come out?

I'm also a supporter of Alan Grayson, think it's very cool he's on this board. And there are so many of them who have been flaunting or ignoring the laws of this country that attempting to prosecute a constitutional scholar like the president would be a total waste of time and money, but it's never stopped them before. *sigh*

...entertaining to the public, like a sex scandal (which they'll never get because I think all presidents have now learned not to get BJ's in the oval office with the Clinton precedent, LOL!). Other than that, I think any other issues like the Constitution and Executive Orders I think the public would find boring. Not something that would gin up a whole lot of ratings for the media.

The act of impeaching the president is very bad for the nation. Its bad news for every aspect of our entire nation.Bad for the economy, bad for the security of our people. Its bad for our ability to live in a country where one faction is at war with the rest of the people to the point where they would destablize our entire government. It will hurt us all.
But it look inevitable. The president has to act on the issue of illegal immigrants. They are here, they have jobs and families. They pay taxes and they are people just like you and me. Illegal immigrant is just another word for poor people, working people.
I am behind the president 1000%

get their wish. It will be a 'tempest in a teapot' media event and maybe it'll take up a lot of their 'valuable' time and these RW protectors of the amerikkkan way will satisfy their ignorant base by doing nothing else to help americans......again.... I am so sick of all these racist, self righteous protectors of the amerikkkan way. Obama really has brought out the worst in some segments of the white race as seen by the vote on November 4, 2014....don't get me wrong it was there all the time, but the election of a black POTUS pushed a lot of them over the edge....ala cloven hoof bundy and his ragtag bunch of racists who said fuck it, let's topple this n.....and their RW politicians did and will do their very best to further that attempt in the next two years for sure. The last six years has really put the hidden cultural/racial norms of this society on front street. I am glad. This will put to rest the idea/lie of a free and democratic society and keep from it from being peddled to the world in the guise of 'a beacon of light'. That light was extinguished long ago, the bulbs were finally broken November 4, 2014.

Only a racist, stupid electorate could create the outcome of an election that this nation and it's moderate, liberal and progressive minority will have to deal with for the next two years. Only fools could vote the way they did, in the majority, on November 4, 2014.

a President Joe Biden. Just impeaching Pres. Obama wouldn't hand the Executive Branch to the Republicans. Or, do they think they can then gin up some charges against Biden and do it again?

What they really want is to overturn the last two presidential elections.

The Dems after Nixon, the Repubs after Clinton, etc. Just citing historical precedent.

Clinton was already impeached at this point in his presidency. I predict for the next two years the parties will just be focused on who they will nominate for the 2016 election. The Repubs will likely just hold additional Benghazi hearings as a means of hoping to stop Hillary.
