what is the big elephant in the room, and the number one reason why the whole KXL pipeline project is absolutely insane: It will surely leak into the Oglala Aquifer, ruining all the drinking and agricultural water for the whole midwest. Any halfway intelligent third grader could tell you that, but these oil robber barons, and the legislators they have bought, are so blinded by their greed and oil lust that they can't even see it. Even more important and basic than no blood for oil is no vitally needed drinking water for oil. A KXL oil spill would make the BP oil disaster look like child's play by comparison.
