Just look at the low post count of this thread, marmar. By definition, we have reached the point where we have members of the ruling class who are part of the same party as our "only hope". You see it defended here by the predicted numbers, who I believe are the vocal minority.

That leaves a different KIND of silent majority. I just choose to put it out there.

I took this from another thread...

Zbigniew Brzezinski giving the CFR (Council of Foreign Relations)
branch in Montreal a presentation discussing world government and his fears of the mass global awakening that has taken place.
This was in 2011.....

Just think about the adage that addresses what power a bunch of people really have.

I've always said this about consumerism. It is WE who are the keepers of the keys of democracy.

A form of that was used by the protesters, in their "shut it down" actions where they showed up at stores in a mall, for example,
and the store people, seeing a herd of black faces coming at them, panicked and closed the stores.
Then there was the "Wal-Mart Black Friday " when the protesters, across the country, showed up en masse at Wal-Marts, resulting in the now viral pic of
National Guard men in Humvees guarding the entrance of the CLOSED Wal-Mart in Ferguson.
Yep....our tax dollars at work, paying for National Guards at a closed Wal-Mart.

whole sham really is. We first have to understand how low we have sunk, there needs to be massive awakening & it can't happen soon enough. It is happening, have no doubt about that.

Bravo, Chris Hedges! We can no longer pretend corporate oligarchy is liberal or democratic.

DU'ers who are still accepting of the Clinton/Bush dynasty and plan on supporting it need to wake up. We cannot continue to congratulate a dem in the White House, if it means absolutely no difference.

I hope everyone gets a chance to see this.

This man should be on the Sunday talk show circuit. But he never will be, because the truth is so unpleasant.
