because Stephen Fry speaks for me. I often agree with Russell Brandt, just not here.

"why yes Stephen I am..."

"how has that happened?....what i mean i guess is how is it that YOU.....you.....are considered a qualified individual to spew drivel all over our television sets semi-periodically in an effort to further erode the social equality of the anglo-american empire?...couldn't they find someone who at least appears intelligent? barack obama APPEARS intelligent...that's what makes him qualified, but you....i don't know about you mike."

"well what don't know you Stephen?"

"i don't know wtf i'm doing here mike"....{gets up and walks out}

I didn't grill him as to why, I just said I hadn't been one for a very long time, meaning he wasn't going to get an argument from me. I imagine watching my mother suffer horribly for the 3 years she took to die was a large part of it. A benevolent deity would have given us the choice to say "OK, I'm done, I'll go now" instead of suffering through kidney failure and end stage COPD or feeling a predator's teeth tear through our flesh before we were dead.

I know if I die and I'm presented with the silly pearly gates scenario, my question will be why he hid his face from us, forcing us to rely on interpretation from charismatic, sociopathic egomaniacs. I have the feeling that the answer would be the one Fry has given, "so that you wouldn't see the great evil within me."

Too bad, a lot of us already have.

The more his voice sounds like John Cleese to me... Which is not a bad thing.

Hukkabee feels 'morally superior' because he believes he's made an effort to explicitly follow a dusty book he believes is holy. Too bad its just a dusty book.
