Ensures our freedom and our survival. We are free to vote our minds and start and run our businesses etc while coming together to protect our environment and ensure everyone we all share in the necessities of life like clean air and water, food and housing, education and health care. Freedom and Survival = Democratic Socialism.

Sanders can't be beat. He's great. I'm hoping he runs as a Democrat. I think that would be the wisest choice. I think he would get the best exposure if he runs as a Democrat and makes it into the Democratic debates.

I can understand his point about wanting to appeal to Independents and cross-over voters, but I think he could appeal to Republicans and Independents if he runs as a different kind of Democrat.
In my opinion, the word socialist in his background would be a bigger problem for his candidacy than the word Democrat.

Bernie is just so fair, so kind, such a great person. He has far broader experience and knowledge than any potential candidate from either party. I really want to see him run although I know it will be tough.

His vow not to do negative campaigning could be hard to keep because Fox News and the Republicans will goad him and try to tease him into being negative.

I respect Bernie Sanders so much. I just hope he runs as a Democrat.

I watched his speech yesterday on C-Span2. The guy is just full of facts that relate to us all. He really has the edge I think over Hillary. She needs to come out quick and start talking about the points Bernie talked about--Income inequality, poverty, money in politics and unionization just to name a few. Bernie said he's not a spoiler but he hopefully can persuade Hillary to turn LEFT against the BIG BANKS and her supporters who don't want to change the status quo. So, go for it Bernie!! He mentioned that if the Koch brothers can donate almost 900 million to a Repug candidate, several million of his followers can donate as little as $100 each and he is well on his way to challenging that Repug. Well, I'm sending my $100 right now!!!
