Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) on Sunday said the congressional investigation into the deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, has “turned into a political exercise.”

“Benghazi has had more hearings, more documents produced, more investigative effort than the entire Iraq War,” the senator added on ABC’s “This Week.”

McCaskill, who has endorsed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, said it’s “pretty clear” that Clinton “implemented all the recommendations of an independent review, she has answered all of the questions.”

“And so I think that they are really getting into dangerous territory where it becomes blatantly obvious that this is just about politics and not about policy,” she added.

1. Democrats have been accused over the years of spend and tax, Republicans are the champion

Of wasteful spending. They wasted over $100 billion on investigating Bill and don't know the price tag on Benghazi. They voted over 50 times to repeal Obamacare, it didn't happen but more wasteful spending. Cruz's shutdown cost over $24 billion. Where does this waste stop. Republicans cut the food stamps, some of this money could have gone to feeding the babies they want born. Let's do something intelligent for a change.

2. Taxpayers should ask Republicans for a refund

We need to spell it out to the uninformed about this waste. No one is interested in Benghazi except the Republican congressmen.

3. I'm not a huge Hillary fan but what the Republicans are doing is beyond the pale.

The ongoing waste of taxpayer money on Benghazi and now the new "scandal" over the Clinton Foundation will make me vote for her just to keep these awful Republicans out of office. I don't remember it ever being this bad, it sounds like something that would take place in Russia or any third world country. The Clinton Foundation "scandal" is going to turn into more Congressional investigations. I can't describe how pissed I am right not at the Republicans, they are really a dangerous threat to our country is about all I can say.
