Related: About this forumJake Tapper Interview re: TPP
I think it would have been easy for her to say one way or the other... but on one hand, she risks losing enthusiastic (and critical) Obama support if she says she is against the current bill, and on the other, she risks enthusiastic support from the base if she says she is for it.
Rock. Meet hard place.

(10,497 posts)When she says back and forth like Ping Pong balls, he says, but they are voting on it! Hillary knows what's in it and must be in support because her Donors are, but again, she cannot say because she will lose Unions and a lot of Democratic voters. I believe she will do what the Donors want in the end, but on this she has an agreement with them to say nothing. They won't give her the money if she doesn't answer their questions.

(2,065 posts)Imagine - that lady was hired to do Hillary's dirty work of running that interviewer around in circles. Any thinking person can see through this and come to the inevitable conclusion that, in the final analysis, Hillary is FOR her corporate donors, who want the TPP, but will go to any lengths to avoid actually admitting it to the voters. Hillary was silent on the TPP for the longest time, and now that she can't be silent anymore she has this hired hand give them the runaround - that's sickening!
Contrast this kind of ridiculous, disrespectful BS with Bernie's straight and honest talk with the voters about the issues - ALL of the issues!
