(27,509 posts)As Gerstenmeyer points out, all three cargo carriers had a launch explode in the past year: Progress, Orbital, and now SpaceX
A few years ago, the ISS was almost abandoned when Soyuz was grounded.
We need the redundancy of at least three carriers.
Some in Congress want to save money by down-selecting from two US carriers to one.
They already down-selected from three.
Funding for DreamChaser should be restored, and funding should be increased for SpaceX and Boeing.
