Here's the Proof: The Establishment Fears Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders surges in the polls and Hillary backer Senator Claire Mccaskill unloads
a silly and red baiting attack on Sanders. A new Gallup poll says that 47% of Americans
would consider voting for a Socialist candidate

I hear a lot of "I love Bernie but he can't win in the general election." Democrats who say this may vote for Hillary even if they like Bernie's positions much better than Hillary's, just because they think Hillary has a better shot in the general election.

Part of what Bernie has to do to win the primaries is show Democratic voters that he can win the general election.

How can anyone look at that as being a knock on Sanders? Gallup is saying that 47% of US voters could conceive of voting for a leftie? Am I the only one around who thinks that is about as amazing as the way public sentiment changed on marriage equality? For most of my life a number like that would have been absolutely inconceivable. That is very funny! It also reflects a serious failure of the Capitalist Monopoly Press to brainwash the younger generation about the evils of socialism (Social Security, Medicare, fair taxes on the uber rich--that sort of thing). Capitalist Monopoly Press, get off your lazy butts! You gotta a lot of work to do!

Oh, they haven't even started on Bernie yet. Look out!

Personally, (and I can't wait to get the angry responses or hate e-mail) I think the Bernie supporters need to make it clear it is Bernie or the Greens. Let the DLC and third way corporate types give in this time. If they want to be the ones to cost the election they can, but this time it is a progressive or nothing!
