Illegal Immigration to America - Hey, Trump, where exactly are you going to build that wall?

This video taken in Miami shows a boatload of people dropping onto the beach. Presumably from Cuba. Which is fortunate because the US is totally ok with Cubans crossing into the country illegally and then getting automatic residence. No muss, no fuss, no waiting.

The only catch is that they have to have at least one foot on dry land to stay. If they catch them at sea, they'll return them to Cuba.

To drum up maximum fear, it's best to keep things simple, because you're appealing to simple minds. The best approach is to whip up fear of Mexicans, often pronounced "mess-kins." I worked at Dulles airport and I can tell you people from el Salvador came and went illegally with no real problems. They came to the US, worked construction jobs for a couple years, sent home some money, and self-deported back to el Salvador. They stayed under the radar and caused no problems. What kind of fence would have stopped them? A fence around Dulles airport? What a laugh!

I've sailed to Mexico and back to Florida 4 times. Of course we check in with immigration and have passports, but it would be no problem to avoid them.

The GC tries to catch drug runners and will stop boats, but really, the US coast line certainly has no "walls". I bought a boat from a Polish immigrant who sailed it here from the Canary Islands. He was completely undocumented, but eventually got citizenship, brought in his wife and son, and got them citizenship. The son is in medical school now.

About 25% of Florida was born in some other county, and that's likely a low estimate. I would not be surprised if 5-10% of the children here are undocumented or were born here to undocumented parents. Unless you really are immersed here, it's easy to underestimate.

A path to citizenship would add millions of voters, mostly Democrats, in a decade.
