That has nothing to do with her. Or does she think her county is sanctioned by God or something?

For some reason, the past couple of days, I've been thinking about people having to swear on the bible for anything, and I wonder why they even do that. It has never stopped anyone from lying before, why would it just because they say they won't while touching it? It's a silly practice. Do they really think anyone is going to refuse to touch the bible, so they can get away with lying in court? Liars are going to lie. And most people have lied a time or two in their lives...so lying to save yourself from jail is probably something a lot of people will do.
