NAOMI KLEIN, PARIS CLIMATE SUMMIT: Leaders' Inaction is 'Violence' Against the Planet
At the Paris UN Climate Summit today, Canadian activist Naomi Klein spoke in depth with Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! News about the Paris event, the urgency of global climate action, the impact of disasters occurring around the world, and the role of Obama, Trudeau and austerity at the UN Climate Summit- COP21.
World meetings on Climate Change started in 1988, significant action has been delayed and is now long overdue.
Naomi Klein is a longtime climate and social activist, author and filmmaker. Her published works include the international bestsellers, "This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate" 2014 and "The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism" 2007.
