As happy and energized and emotionally on point as I have seen him, covering all of the issues important to voters and talking about issues leading to events in Brussels, in Arizona re: voter problems, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, polls, Flint Michigan, immigration, climate change, police brutality, crime, Native American issues, gay marriage, women's voting rights and equal pay for equal work, education, trade deals, medicare for all / healthcare, the entire gamut -- and yes, NO TELEPROMPTERS, all from his heart, from a genuine place of concern.
He gets personal at one point (1:00:00-in), discussing how he is getting all of his energy from the people coming to the rallys and those showing up to vote. A person faints as he is speaking about healthcare, and he stops to make sure all is okay, and then jumps right back in and finishes with a powerful message.... if we have a record turnout, we can win California -- and we can win the White House.
He is truly, truly as focused and energized as I have seen him yet.

(13,297 posts)When that person yelled 'I love you Bernie' and he shouted 'i love you' back, I think it really turned the corner for me -- just so much momentum moving in the right direction and California & Washington State and other late-voting states can truly make a difference in this election, when the time is so critical for folks to step up and take a stand.

(24,010 posts)The man's energy continues to astonish me. It's like there are dozens of Bernie Sanders' all over this half of the country. Did they clone him or what?
Truly amazing man. And I think he's telling the plain truth when he says it's the people at his huge rallies and the voters who are voting for him who infuse him with the energy to do so many major events in such a short space of time, interspersed with numerous smaller events, media interviews, press conferences, meetings with local people, meetings with staff, and on and on. It's the People who give him the fire!
That's the kind of leader we want--one who is inspired and energized by We, the People!

(13,297 posts)and never just one issue, the full range of issues that all lead this country to the future we all envision but have no influence on except at the single-vote level, which is really the only power there is when used in mass

(15,139 posts)tonight and was greeted at the venue by a man sporting a Bernie pin. Several people commented that they can't wait to vote for Him. Also saw lots of Bernie bumper stickers. California is, indeed, feelin the Bern - even though we have to wait until June 7th to make it official.

(13,297 posts)Californians must register as democrat or 'No Party Preference' to vote for Bernie
I think a lot of people think 'Independent' will do... and they have to adjust this before May 23, the sooner the better. I'm encouraging Republicans to switch to 'No Party Preference' so they can vote for Bernie.

(13,297 posts)The set up doesn't make it obvious..... you have to fill in an empty blank online with words 'NO PARTY PREFERENCE' as there is not a checkbox for that... very confusing

(1,178 posts)Lately, I kinda get halfway through a Bernie speech and as they all kinda of run into one another as far as content, I often turn off (they are great for those hearing his message the first time, but us more engaged folk know the score already).
But this... this was a different one, one that I watched right through and the type of one that I hope he takes on forward and builds on. Much more engaging, and feisty! And I really liked that he now draws that line between the Iraq invasion and the creation of ISIS. It does not have to be a point overplayed, but a point essential to make, nonetheless.
