I get them here, but ours are probably about a three year cycle. I haven't heard them for some time, so it might be time for them to come out. We also don't have the volumes of them that they have in this video. Yikes!
Loved how the narrator tormented that poor guy who just wanted to find a girlfriend.

A lady that works with my wife says the birds won't eat at her bird feeder as usual. We have unusual birds in the neighborhood. I assume they are here to eat the cicadas. I think Robins switch over from their regular nightcrawlers diet to cicadas when the 17 year "locusts" emerge.

just over the Ohio River from Cincinnati. No cicadas yet, but we're expecting them any time.
