(36,958 posts)I'm sure that there will be a shiteload of DUers who will express some actual righteous outrage at this man who struck a woman. Amirite?
P.S. He looks familiar.

(41,274 posts)with a CANE in public and telling her "why don't you sit down!" at a Democratic event in NY this week. What sexist, racist and entitled behavior and clear display of white male privilege and anger directed at a minority woman of color. Treating this young woman, a Sanders supporter like a servant or animal is incredible and like something that would happen at a Trump rally.
Why isn't this ugly, violent incident being covered by the corporate news media? In pressing charges I hope the young woman who was assaulted is successful against this abusive man and that the derelict news media begins covering the case, pronto. ~ Many thanks to Cenk and TYT for bringing this nasty story to light.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
