So...if I could pick any man in the world today for a husband...it would be Tyson. He is exactly what I would want in a soul mate.

He must set up this cartoon to make it easier for him to demonstrate its irrelevance to the scientific community.

what makes him think that his intellect could ever be on a level of a Creator who motivated the Big Bang?

Like an ant pontificating on humans in a class and explaining that these beings cannot be sentient because the ant cannot imagine them possessing sentience.

And he also references Georges Lemaitre, a Belgian priest who was also a physicist. Of Lemaitre it was said:

It is a point of great interest nowadays, when there is so much loose thinking and still looser writing and talking about the non-existence of God, of the immortal soul, and of a host of eternal verities, to see a man who is both a priest and a scientist fraternizing on the most intimate terms with the world's most illustrious scientific geniuses. He not only associates with them, but he is their peer; and in that is the lie given to the old and empty charge that the study of science means the loss of belief in religion. Lemaître, of course, is usually an object of great curiosity — not so much to his coreligionists as to many not of the faith who marvel at the "phenomenon" of a Catholic priest being a scientist, yes, not only a scientist of the regular run, but a genius whose theories are most daring.6

Tyson is obviously intelligent, but he stands on the shoulders of giants as he makes his comments about the supposed irreconcilability of faith and science.

Edited to add: the Creator might not be tired of Tyson.

First of all, that's not what he's claiming, so you've built your own strawman to pretend Tyson has created a straw man. What he did say quite clearly is that those who have attempted to rationalize the Big Bang with the bible have failed over and over and there's not much hope they ever will.

Next, how do you know what the intellect of your alleged creator is? You can't even prove there is one, much less describe it's nature or intellect. I find it very funny when someone claims humans lack the intellect to explain the "creator" after they have just explained the "creator". That whole line, which isn't exactly original material by the way, is self defeating. If non-believers can't use the bible to explain the alleged nature of a creator, then neither can believers.

That is what it means to live in a society with freedom of religion...

I could not agree more if I tried. The fact is that fundamentalists of any stripe are dangerous.
Believe whatever batshit insane things you want, but accept the fact that your belief grants them no special state-sponsored status, period.

Fundies of jewish, christian, and moslem faiths.

Take the final step.

Since they've rejected so many gods, surely they can understand how atheists feel about the one they cling to.
