Both Hughley and Cuomo agree with Kaepernick's description of America as an anti-black racist nation with oppresses "people of color".

Cuomo presents himself as an objective news anchor. CNN presents itself as an objective news outlet. Hughley presents himself as sufficiently politically and historically informed to accurately opine on such issues.

The murder and crime rate in Chicago is because of poverty and the people that are complaining of Kaspernick are not complaining of the clear abuse of people of color, from police misconduct, to purging voter roles, to voter ID laws.
