(9,148 posts)Trump gave them all the incentive needed and they will push to embrace every voter they can.
The opportunity afforded by Trump comes along only once in a generation. To flip the Senate & narrow the GOP control of the House would not have been more than a dream one year ago.
Thanks Donald Trump & Thanks to the strategy & brilliance of Team Podesta and all who have stood firmly against the RNC.
And thank you Sec Hillary Clinton

The Democratic team know how to navigate in this year's political waters, while Teh Donald just keeps chasing the chum.
Great job, Hillary and team!
I couldn't be prouder of our amazing and qualified candidate right now.

(14,856 posts)Reagan wooed a bunch of people with his positive, mythical message while Carter came across as a "worrywart" about potential problems.
Lots of Americans like feel-good myths of the "old days" and how we've always been the "good guys" in world affairs.
Not that the USA has been all bad, by a long shot! It's just more messy than many people care to hear. Pointing out the negativity of Trump might pick up a few of those people in voting booths.
