1. America's ADA is second to NONE. Our Dutch friends can't stop praising the wonderful laws that

help the hubby get around on his crutches and wheelchairs. The sidewalks are all adapted to allow for easy wheelchair access; ALL stores are ADA adapted where there are elevators; airports have free and kind help with wheelchairs; people are genuinely nice toward people with disabilities overall and, in California at least, disabled people are allowed a caretaker to take them to the movies for free!

Our Dutch friends LOVE America and they've discovered what I've always known: it's the BEST country in the world.

Americans are also trailblazers, inventive, intelligent, amazing, diverse (even among Americans in all 50 States) AND we've elected the first Black American to be the leader of the free world and of the most powerful country in the world.

Yep. The United States of America truly is the best country in the world - hands down - just as long as we don't have Republicans in power, that is.

Thank you! Your people make a great nation and we're fortunate to be your neighbor.

During the Iran Hostage Crisis in the late 1970's, Canada went to significant trouble through very dangerous circumstances to extricate Americans who were not at the US embassy during the take-over. Canadians will always be thanked by patriotic Americans for their solidarity with the people of the USA during those difficult times.
