May I get you a cup of coffee? Whatever you want to call him, I'm with you. What gets me is Gabby said he needs to have a little "courage". You and I had no choice. I seem to recall, "no mission to difficult, no sacrifice to great, duty first". He can't get out and meet with his constituents.

I am a loyal American, in opposition to pRezident dRumpf and the GOP.

Gabby needs the Purple Heart.

My newly elected, So-Called Representative John Rutherford (Repuke - Of Course) was another "no-show." After campaigning on a law-and-order platform -- he lost his spine, along with any trust of the LEOs he used to lead as sheriff. Instead, he attended a change-of-command event at a Navy base, safe and secure behind chain-link fences and armed base security personnel.

But that didn't stop some of his constituents from meeting, with an empty chair in his place.

Chants of “Where Is John” and “Do Your Job” were audible throughout the office-park parking lot, with attendees taking turns asking questions to an empty chair – a stand-in for the congressman, who was of course not there.

“If I had the authority, I’d fire him … and in two years, I will” – a rough paraphrase of the sentiments of one speaker.

A former employee of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Letitia Smith Hodo, worked in corrections for 21 years (until 2012) and spoke to those assembled.

Her take: Rutherford was an adherent to the “good ol’ boy” system and wasn’t accessible to employees, especially corrections workers, as sheriff.

The big difference here is that he's our employee now, and we will continue to demand accessibility, or we should make him a one-term wonder.

2018!

metal detectors, and "one way in" to venues?

He doesn't have to hold his town halls in a parking lot--he can hold them at a private venue and issue invitations ahead of time.

This one needs to be TARGETED. Television and radio ads, I think--NOW. Early. Simple OPPO pieces, thirty seconds or less, highlighting to his constituents how this assclown is AFRAID to meet with his own people.

If he can't meet with his constituents, his constituents just might not be able to muster up the enthusiasm to vote for him in 2018.....

"Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' blood is on Sarah Palin's hands after putting cross hair over district"

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/rep-gabrielle-giffords-blood-sarah-palin-hands-putting-cross-hair-district-article-1.149099

Didn't see any protests from republicans then, or even after Gabby was shot. No sir, they loved people walking around with guns, no matter where, "Open Carry" was fine with them. Even after Sandy Hook. No matter if it was a school, or a theater or a church, no matter how many innocent people killed...it was "their right to bear arms." They love their guns so much they passed laws that made it fine for the mentally ill, those on no fly lists, those on terrorist lists, even spousal abusers to carry.

Because sure, too bad for the rest of us, but when there is even a minuscule chance of a republican who stands by these laws, putting their ass on the line...it all changes.

So now, these gutless wonders "have" to hide.

Think Trump will stop having his still campaign rallies? (even though the election is over... he can't deal with the fact he lost the Popular vote) I doubt it, but these republicans, having to have to listen to their constituents? "It's too dangerous" for them. What bull.

Today in my city, the people were cheering just to get a look at our President Obama coming out of a Starbucks. Waving and smiling, not running, not hiding, never did:

"Obama spotted at NYC Starbucks, greeted by cheering crowd" http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/obama-spotted-at-nyc-starbucks-greeted-by-cheering-crowd/ar-AAnkJS8?li=AAn4eAA

Gohmert, you are a coward, a crybaby, and a hypocrite, Gabby has more guts, more courage and more honesty than you will ever possess. She still won't hide. You hide, from questions, and the truth, pathetic...that's what you are.
