This really was unprecedented! Rhiannon12866 Feb 2017 #10
There should have been only one more envelope backstage to hand them. Kimmel took the blame. nt ancianita Feb 2017 #12

He was funny and good humored, handled everything that was thrown at him - including this! My friend agreed and said that probably means he won't be asked back...

He strikes me as lacking in humor. I think Warren Beatty really tried to step up to the plate on this one, made a point of explaining exactly how it happened. And he has to know that this will be replayed and talked about for as long as there are Oscars!

I really didn't have high expectations for him, but he was one of the best Oscar hosts I've seen. He was so relaxed as if he'd been doing it for years.

I told my daughter this morning that La La Land had won.

You can imagine my surprise when I turned on the morning news.

I was confused, but it looked like everyone there was, too. I can't imagine how it happened, but since it was Best Picture, of all things, I imagine they're going to be obligated to get to the bottom of it. Nobody's going to forget this, that's for sure! They'll be talking about this as long as there are Oscars!
