is about the 1980 Soviet Hockey team, and is stunning. It's one of the "30 for 30" series from ESPN. They used to be available to watch on Netflix, but alas, no longer. However you can buy the DVD from Amazon.

Not only does that video give a history of the Soviet hockey program, but shows what happened in 1980 from their perspective.

And not only were they NOT executed after the loss (where does Ann Coulter think she gets this misinformation from?) but at least one of them moved to the United States.

They spend cash like there is no tomorrow, and money that could be helping poor people go into extravagant parties, golfing resorts, and skiing trips to Aspen. It must be wonderful to be a rich selfish Republican who can thumb their noses at poor people while they spend lots of our money.

Years ago, George W. Bush spent lots of money, and our nation was on the brink of financial collapse but it took Obama to bring that money back so we would not have problems. Now Trump is spending way more money.. Who ever inherits the next mess, will have quite a task to clean up after these people.

So, Coulter's all bent out of shape because back in the cold war, she feels that liberals just LOVED the Russians and HATED America. Big fans of the gulags and political executions, etc... and unfairly vilified Nixon and McCarthy (who was, according to Coulter, 100% correct after all).

But, she continues, we should have had this fighting spirit for the last 50 years! We should have been resisting the Russians this whole time! They're bloodthirsty communists, after all!

And, she concludes, liberals just don't need to get upset about Putin, and he's such a pussycat. Why are liberals so upset about journalism killings today but not then, besides, Putin's no big deal. I'm going to call him "the Beast" ironically to point out how weak liberals are for hating him.

Besides, it is implied, Russia's not all that bad. No need to get upset about those current-day journalism killings that I mentioned but would like you to forget please, when our real enemy is ISLAM! Oh, right! And the Russians are on our side of that fight! They're really working hard with us to put down ISIS and all those swarming radicals who are going to definitely kill everyone in the USA TOMORROW! Russia has been dealing with those pesky Muslims (read: killing those pesky Muslims) for centuries, now! And here's an example from the current decade.

Really, seriously, can anyone read her tripe and take her even remotely seriously?

Russians were monsters 50 years ago -> Liberals loved them -> Why are the liberals upset about them only now -> Besides, Russia's not that bad -> They've been great for centuries -> Disregard point #1 -> Islam -> Liberals should love the Russians -> Obama was bad for colluding on a hot mic with Russians -> They're our friends -> Liberals are the enemy -> more Islam.

He was the first person to take the Stanley Cup to Russia (1997). Fetisov also won a Stanley Cup as an assistant coach of the New Jersey Devils in 2000. Between the 1980 Olympic Silver Medal and his NHL career, he played on the Soviet's winning Olympic teams in 1984 and 1988, so he has 2 Olympic gold medals as well. In 1988 they awarded him the Order of Lenin.
