1. The place where I work is one of the few in the area that accepts Medicaid.

The glasses provided to children are the most pitiful and cheaply made frames out there. The prescription lenses are made in a prison. The cost is minimal and the doctor's reimbursement for the exam is low. Every once in a while, I get a big "Thank You" for taking Medicaid.

What is it with these people? Oh, how I despise them so! What did the numbers say? 66% of evangelicals voted for the Executive Producer of The Apprentice? F**k them and their god.

2. It really is sad. Lots of health care providers don't accept Medicaid. Those "Medicaid" glasses

are about the worst for young kids. I don't see much chance of states -- particularly red ones -- improving reimbursement rates.

Glad your group accepts Medicaid, wish more did.
