Hitler's Children Disney Education For Death Cartoon (1943)

(From YouTube) "Education for Death: The Making of the Nazi" is an animated short film produced by Walt Disney and released on January 15, 1943 by RKO Radio Pictures. It was directed by Clyde Geronimi and principally animated by Ward Kimball. The short is based on the non-fiction book of the same name by American author Gregor Ziemer.

Notice the parallels between "the making of a Nazi" and right-wing/conservative Republican/Teabagger beliefs today.

Some observations:
1. Birth certificate proving the baby is “pure Aryan.” Sound familiar? Substitute “American” for “Aryan” and apply to voter I.D. and President's “birth certificate.”
2. Couple wants to name their son “Hans” A “verboten” list of names is checked. Sound familiar? Remember what Teapublicans said about "Barack Hussein?”
3. Wicked witch threatens sleeping princess who is saved by prince. Wicked witch is “democracy,” princess becomes “Germany,” and the prince is Hitler. Sound familiar? Just substitute “prince” with “Citizens United,” and “princess” with “America.”
4. Mother is worried about “sick child” because of the oppression of the “unfit” Sound familiar? Replace rabbit with “poor people, “unemployed,” “immigrants,” “homeless,” etc. (see Lesson in "natural history&quot

Overview--
Rabbit is devoured by wolf. Boy’s empathy favors “the poor rabbit.” Teacher and class are shocked. The lesson is reinforced:
1. “World belongs to the strong…and the brutal”
2. “Rabbit is a coward and deserves to die.”
3. “No room for weaklings”
