4. The truth is if you take out southern whites

Obama does just fine among white voters in every other part of the country.


Like his approval rating, he just does so poorly in one part of the country, it drags down the number nationally.


Obama will win the majority of whites in the northeast. He will win the majority of the whites on the west coast.


And as has been pointed out continuously he is running very well among working class whites in the midwest.


Obama does not have a white voter problem. He as a white southern voter problem. I wish people would get this straight.

And mark this down and tuck away this little nugget for 2016.


In 2008, Barack Obama received 22% of the white vote in South Carolina.

While this might seem low, it is actually a good number for the white vote in a deep southern state. This was a surprise on election night. Everyone believes GA will be the next southern state to fall. And Arizona is already being eyed in 2016. But with a huge AF turnout, and a slight uptick on that 22% number in 2008, South Carolina could be a surprise state for the Dems in 4-8 years.

16. Everyone keeps saying the problem in Texas is demographics

The truth is the demographics are already there.

The problem is hispanics don't vote.


In 2008 hispanics were 16% of the population. But just 8-9% of the vote. This year, a full 4 years later, the Dems are doing everything they can just to get the hispanics to 10%!!!!! That's how far off the vote is based on population. The hispanic vote is a real sleeping giant. But as long as it just "sleeps" its not going to do progressives any good.

By comparison, African Americans were 12.8 percent of the population in 2008. But where 13% of voters on election day. If hispanics could follow suit and join progressive whites, we would have a dominate blue majority for a generation to come.

a fact about the Old Confederacy. Grant defeated Lee in Virginia and Sherman defeated Johnston in North Carolina. That spelled doom for the Confederacy. Obama may win both states. If North Carolina falls in Obama's column on election day, it is all over.

where the jury is asked to imagine that the little girl who was raped was white.

I've imagined using the same strategy on white voters who might otherwise lean towards the Democrat but just can't vote for Obama.. I want to say "well just take all his positions and now imagine that he's White".
