Blame the specific employees for their stupidity, because god knows they are stupid for doing this, but if you don't think this happens everywhere, you would be surprised.

there are no other or very few employers except WM and there are no other stores which stay open late and on Sat afternoons and Sundays which have the things one needs except WM. And sad as it is people actually want and are happy to have these jobs and the buyers are happy to have a place to buy these good without driving for 2 to 3 hours to purchase them elsewhere. I know I have a business in one of these area and live in another.

but if we just give in to their practices then we are just as at fault for their employees low wages and shitty products. saying things aren't easy and then giving in as opposed to only driving 2 hours to obtain a computer built half way around the world with parts from deep trenches of this earth is not that ridiculous. we are talking about a thousand dollar product not a bag of apples and a loaf of bread.

Austin to get those products but I am not trying to raise a family and can take the time and pay for the gas to do that. If people have the money to purchase these higher priced items, then they are probably going to do it closer to home. Although some I know buy second hand reworked computers from a smart young man in town. Bought my last computer at Office Depot in Austin, not sure that's any better. I don't trust WalMart but again I am in a much different situation than many who live in these small towns.
