Tax The Rich

Last edited Sun Dec 9, 2012, 11:39 AM - Edit history (1)

"Tax the rich: An animated fairy tale, is narrated by Ed Asner, with animation by Mike Konopacki. Written and directed by Fred Glass for the California Federation of Teachers. An 8 minute video about how we arrived at this moment of poorly funded public services and widening economic inequality. Things go downhill in a happy and prosperous land after the rich decide they don't want to pay taxes anymore. They tell the people that there is no alternative, but the people aren't so sure. This land bears a startling resemblance to our land. For more info, www.cft.org."

So simply a child could understand.

When corruption is addressed in this country things will change.

Our corrupt politicians are the direct cause of the problems this country faces.

When they are held accountable for the actions and the laws of the land are followed we can begin to dig out of this hole.

The rich only have the power our corrupt officials have given them.

Our corrupt government officials have let we the people down.

Their paychecks, pensions and perks should be stopped immediately.

They are the ones who belong in the unemployment lines.

Official 2013 Calendar for the House of Representatives; they are scheduled to work 126 days !!!

This is sickening.

They will only be working 8 days in January 2013.

You would think this country has zero problems.

If you want to be truly disgusted, look at it. If these assholes can afford $150,000 for one carpet and $200,000 for special wood to panel one room, they can fucking afford higher taxes.

to repeal Citizens United and overhaul the Supreme Court with nonpartisan judges. In other words, Antonin "The Scallion" Scalia and Clarence "My wife is a tea-partier" Thomas have got to go.
