Folks continue to act as if Obama can do whatever we want him to do but he refuses.

I am for the PO in ObamaCare or better yet Single Payer, closing GITMO & stricter gun laws but I am not going to jump on the blame Obama bandwagon if Congress is the reason it does not happen like it was with PO, SP & GITMO, NOT Obama!

Plus, it is hard to get anything done if a majority of the American public is not on board...Like was the case for Single Payer, PO, & GITMO...The Democrats got murdered the last time they passed gun control laws. Lets see what happens this time maybe the public will begin to change after this latest slaughter of innocent children. We will see.

However, I can promise everyone here no gun control legislation will NEVER EVER pass Congress until the House is taken out of the hands of the FOOLS who control it today.

Everyone is focused on Obama who is doing something by talking about it but he can't force Congress to pass gun control legislation...Matter of FACT no gun control legislation should even be proposed before we see what happens in 2014...Because it will only be used against the Democrats & has ZERO CHANCE of passing anyway.

I have no questions at all that if Obama is handed a gun control bill he will sign it...However, I am not going to sit here & lie to myself & think such legislation has even .0000000001% chance of passing before 2015...I think others better get in this mindset or they are going to be disappointed.

Blame Obama when he vetoes gun control legislation.

about inaction not being an excuse and you are lying to youself if you think that this country can endure these types of massacre. All this hand wringing the issue will be used against blah, blah... Stop the nonsense. The President is a big boy, he needs to lead. Leadership and explaining to the American people why we need to control guns making it a win win for everyone that is how you get things done. Of course you will have opposition but it is his job to show a vision that can work. Stand up to the opposition and explain why your way is the better way..

You seem to have some hesitation on your principles. Honestly if you are a Progressive than you should start standing up for what you believe in and stop getting sidetracked...

...and it's not President Obama's fault. Unless or until the people recognize and support a Constitutional Amendment to the 2nd Amendment, retaining firearm ownership not as an enumerated Constitutional right, but as a privilege, much like car ownership, there will be only "talk".

It is much easier to expand and restrict a state granted privilege than it is a Constitutional right.
