A series legitimizing the morally bankrupt behavior of our corrupt leaders (like it was beyond our imagination anyway) ... while feeding the insatiable appetite Americans have for crap! Kevin is of course brilliant as always ... the series get worse as it progresses when the congressman commits murder in the last episode in his efforts to ascend to the VP spot ...

Posted a spoiler. Insulted 360M plus people. The original series was very popular in the UK. Made a nonsensical assertion: A story, whatever medium used, legitimizes the subject. So Godfather legitimized the Mafia and organized crime or Apocalypse Now legitimized war or Moby Dick legitimized maniacal obsession?

but you watched all the way to "the last episode" and then spoiled it for others by giving away a plot twist?

(wrongly, too. It wasn't in the last episode)

Classy move to complain about the show and then throw out a MAJOR spoiler when a lot of people haven't finished watching it.

At Wed Feb 6, 2013, 08:02 AM an alert was sent on the following post:

House of Cards Reviewed: Episode 4
http://www.democraticunderground.com/101796803

REASON FOR ALERT:

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate. (See Community Standards.)

ALERTER'S COMMENTS:

Maybe I've only a little leg to stand on, but why spoil many people's day with the unnecessary spoiler info. Hurtful and insensitive.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Wed Feb 6, 2013, 08:06 AM, and the Jury voted 2-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT and said: Spoilers suck. To the poster: next time, please consider putting a *spoiler warning* in your thread title.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: It's a review from youtube. If you don't want spoilers don't watch a review.
Perhaps you're complaining about the 2nd post rather than the topic? The 2nd post actually put up a spoiler. The OP, you'd have to click on the video.
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT and said: Guy's a jerk! Hide it!
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Some people need to make their own decisions about what to read. Unbelievably weak alert...

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.
