I think she gets FM reception with those ears.

(14,947 posts)What's her name? I am thinking Yoda.

(19,379 posts)Don't ask me what it means, some sort of teenager lingo.
She's actually my son's cat. He's going away to college in the Fall and we thought a cat was preferable to an owl.

(5,128 posts)I hate to hijack your thread with a competing pic, but I get your point (!) about the ears.
When our new Siamese came to us at 4 weeks, she was all out of proportion. Get a load of this:
bluesbassman
(19,379 posts)Those are some big ears! Did they grow into 'em?
Beautiful cats BTW, and no worries on the thread hijack, the more the merrier!

(5,128 posts)She remains slim and kitten-like, oddly, for 7 years now.
She was SO pronounced in her pointy-headedness (from all angles), we named her Wedgehead Flipperfoot.
She remains Wedgie to this day.

(41,991 posts)What's her name?
bluesbassman
(19,379 posts)She was laying on my daughter and the color contrast really popped.
Her name is "Myess", which is some form of teenage dialect that I've not quite mastered. It's pronounced "ummyess".

(47,675 posts)Just keep in mind that NOTHING WILL BE SAFE for a very long time. If you don't have squirt guns all over the house, get some. They're in stock at most stores now. Get a supersoaker for the long distance shots. I've trained a lot of cats with those and it doesn't take long before you don't even need to bother filling them. Just pick them up and the cat gets off the counter or whatever naughty thing they're doing. The supersoakers are great because all you have to do is pump them (dry) in another room and you'll hear kitty feet running away.

(6,795 posts)but that is one good looking feline
bluesbassman
(19,379 posts)It's a real drag being allergic to cats or dogs. Our teenagers have a couple of friends who suffer allergies too, so we keep the dayroom off limits to the animals. That way they can visit and not flare up.
