N. Korea women protest over flag

North Korea's women's football team refused to start their match with Colombia on Wednesday night due to a dispute over the wrong flag being displayed.

The South Korea flag was shown alongside players' names on screens at Hampden Park instead of the North Korea equivalent when a video package was being shown ahead of kick-off.

The Koreans headed back into their dressing room in digust but were eventually persuaded to take the field and the game kicked off an hour and five minutes after it was meant to.

This is why soccer doesn't catch on: weird terminology. What the hell is a digust?

I bet you won't catch hockey players getting dressed in a digust.

That place went downhill after Killer left to do the Daily Show, which was way better when he hosted it.

(And I know it's Pyongyang; that was my sad idea of a joke. )

But as I always tell people, Geography is so much more about the whats, whys, processes, and relationships - we simply don't have time to memorize every scrap of 'where' trivia. (That's what I say when I miss the blue pie question in Trivial Pursuit, anyway...)

I mean it was the NK team, so they should have people working there who are competent, the Olympic games are all about country identification of teams, so why the hell did someone put the SK flag up when the NK team was the team playing?

No fan of NK but they are a country and we'd be pissed if our team was greeted by, I don't know, a British flag.

After all, North Korea invaded South Korea and tried to conquer them. They're touchy about the whole thing cause they got their butts kicked.

to allow their names to be pictured next to the false-flag of a pretend nation (there is only one Korea!).

This is high treason.
