I think another of my cats does this too, but unlike Grendel, her nose drips when she's super happy at being petted.
Grendel on the hand, drips like a leaky faucet out the corner of his mouth when petted.
It's pretty funny. I think it is endearing.

(34,111 posts)He is a baby, a 5 year old baby. I have had cats that groom me when I pet them but never one that drooled like this. When I got him from the rescue he was probably about 2 or 3 months old. He sucked on my bathrobe when I was wearing it like he was nursing. He is just a little sweetie.
The feral that has, after about 3 years of feeding and kindness, decided he is my kitty and I am his human does not seem to drool but when he shakes his head when I am petting him he sprays slobber all over the place. Hopefully we will be at the point I can get him vetted, neutered and checked really soon and we will see if it is just drooling like my other one or if there is a problem.
It is endearing. Your kitty loves you!

(41,984 posts)He'd climb on me and knead away at my chest and drool. Come to think of it I have an ex husband who used to do that too.
